Gender:
Cis Man
Distinguishing Characteristics: He has a bunch of occult tattoos on his arms and in various other places on his body. Plus a bunch of facial tattoos.
Personality: Dorian is sarcastic, somewhat rude and very introverted. He doesn't do well interacting with living humans (or anyone, really) and has a tendency to be incredibly insensitive -- almost entirely without meaning to be. His depression makes it difficult for him to

Goals:
Figure out WTF is going on with the supernatural in Arkham, get free from his mother's influence, break the rest of the contracts that he's under because of her.

Backstory:
Dorian Keye was born in mid-December of 1997 in Morden, England to Marilyn and Edmund Keye -- Marilyn being a parapsychologist and occultist of some note while Edmund was working as an archival assistant with the British History Museum. Much of Marilyn’s work had her traveling around England, sometimes even leaving the country -- usually with Dorian in tow, despite the dangers of her work -- with Ed staying behind in London where he continued his own work.

The First Encounter
It’s entirely likely that Dorian had encounters with the paranormal before the incident that occured in October of 2003, but that was the first he can remember…. Dorian and his mother were staying at a supposedly haunted inn in a small village located in the Liguria region of Italy. Whilst Dorian was asleep in their fourth floor room, Marlilyn set to work gathering information about the spirit and trying to force it into manifesting. Unfortunately for both of them, the spirit did not manifest where Marilyn was but instead, in the room with Dorian.

He can still clearly recall being woken suddenly by the feeling of cold hands wrapping around his ankles and tearing him from his bed -- throwing him against the plaster wall in a single gesture, breaking his left arm. It took his mother several minutes to get to her son in the room three floors above her, finding the six year old held to the wall by his throat by the enraged spectre. He can’t recall how she saved him, only that she somehow did and he managed to survive this encounter.

Naturally, this encounter was pretty traumatizing for Dorian, but it also awakened an obsession with the occult that still remains to this day. Through the rest of his childhood, he would end up helping his mother with her research, going with her on trips, helping her look through old manuscripts and etc.,

By the age of thirteen, Dorian was fully wrapped up in the world of the Supernatural -- though he was admittedly more experienced in the "spiritual" side of things, being somewhat un-educated when it came to vampires, werewolves and etc., (though he knew vaguely of their existence, they simply didn't really concern him). It was at this age that he started to develop supernatural abilities of his own -- namely, mediumship and psychommetry. They weren't things that he sought out but things that developed naturally for him. They did, however, really come in handy for his mother's research.

Unbeknownst to Dorian (sort of), his mother was planning on using him to bolster her own supernatural power and used him as collateral in several deals made with various demons and powerful supernatural entities. While some of these required Dorian's "consent", she was able to obtain it via tricking him into signing contracts without telling him what it was since he was, at that point, unfailingly trusting of his mother (the poor idiot).

Most of his teen years were largely uneventful, save for the move to New England when Dorian was thirteen, following the disappearance (death?) of his father. Dorian hadn't been particularly close to the man but it still had a profound impact on his psyche and along with everything else, thirteen was when Dorian's chronic depression would start to manifest.

In addition to his love of/obsession with the occult, Dorian was deeply invested in the arts -- spending any free time he had sketching and painting anything that came to mind -- which meant he drew a lot of particularly disturbing/upsetting pieces since he was so heavily involved with the supernatural. He also had a tendency to draw the spirits that he encountered/saw on a regular basis.
