Appearance: Florian is 5'5 with a thin but soft build, narrow shoulders and long legs. He has the bone structure for angular features but the baby fat on his face softens that structure considerably. His hair is a little past collar-bone length and falls in a 2b curl pattern, usually worn down. His bangs fall into his face a lot. Florian's appearance can best be described as "bishounen anime character" who dresses like a mix between a cliche mafioso and a slutty gay romantigoth.
Distinguishing Features: Florian has occulotaneous albinism -- which means that he had incredibly pale skin even before his Embrace with white-blonde hair and pale blue eyes with dark reddish pupils (most Embrace his eyes appear more as a solid pink color). He's pretty much always wearing sunglasses, even if light doesn't bother his eyes as much as it used to, just out of habit. He wears contacts to correct hisvision but even wearing them, his vision is 20/40 at best. He also has snakebites, a pierced nose, pierced eyebrows and several ear piercings on both sides.
History: Florian was born in Bucharest, Romania, to Nikolai Lazarescu, a mid-level boss in the [redacted] clan of the Romanian Mafia and Florian knows absolutely nothing about his mother beyond the fact that she died shortly after Florian was born. Nikolai kept the child, seeing a chance to leverage possible future connections for power using "her". When Florian was six years old, he was set up in an arranged marriage with Adrian [Redacted], a fifth cousin whose direct family had connections both with those higher in the organization than Nikolai but other organizations that Nikolai wanted a connection with. Adrian was the son of Nikolai's direct boss as well.

All of his childhood, Florian was taught by tutors and largely isolated from the world outside of his Family. When he was thirteen, desperate to get "out" more he found his way into the party scene (and what there was of the goth scene) in Bucharest at the time. He also developed a crush on his father's enforcer/right hand (who was also often tasked with protecting Florian) -- Viktor Dimitrov.

At sixteen, Florian's father was sent to Santa Marta (along with all of his direct underlings and Florian) to further some project their organization was working on in the city -- Florian has no real information on what that project was, however... Seeing an opportunity to create a life that was more in line with what he wanted, Florian came out as trans at this time -- making it clear that he would *not* cooperate with being cast as Nikolai's daughter *or* marrying Adrian, breaking off their engagement in an incredibly public and *rude* way (basically, sent Adrian a text telling him a) that Florian was not a girl and b) that he had no interest in staying with Adrian and that he wanted the other boy to "fuck off").

Nikolai, being ever the opportunist, decided that having a son could be just as useful as having a daughter and was initially...mostly supportive -- funding whatever changes Florian wanted to make to himself... Unfortunately for Nikolai, Florian had absolutely no interest in taking his father's position in the future -- not due to any lack of loyalty to the Family but because he didn't think he had the smarts/cleverness to be in any position of power within the organization and caring too much about its well-being to put it at risk like that.

Prior to the Chronicle, Florian has been dating Viktor for the past two years (though the relationship has been very open) and working as a low-level pusher for the organization. He was Embraced accidentally by a 13th generation Toreador named Dimitri Blackwell and abandoned in a hotel room. He was found by his current Coterie and six months prior to the present day had his Embrace "completed" by the Caitiff, Wayland the Warhound (one of the enforcers/problem solvers for Baron Ravi).

Currently, Viktor is Florian's only ghoul and the two are still together -- despite possible difficulties. Florian recently discovered that his father has been planning to kill him for the past year or so and is, understandably, absolutely heartbroken by this revelation.

Possessions:

Carried (usually in a large coffin shaped backpack): burner phone, sunglasses, contact case, saline solution, extra pair of underwear, a bottle of YSL La Nuit, tissues, a couple baggies of various pills (vicodin, xanax, adderall, a bit of molly).
Wallet Contents: US ID & Driver's License (fake/not valid -- though he's got much better fakes now and was given the paperwork to get his citizenship issues sorted out by Ravi), three credit cards (also technically not valid), about 100$ in cash or so.
Pocket contents: car keys, wallet, his actual cellphone, flip knife with a 3.5" blade
hidden in an internal pocket of his jacket (or in his binder if he's wearing it): a .22 caliber handgun.

He also owns a '67 black mustang (black, hardtop)

Notes:

Florian has a permanent -2 to dice pool on rolls involving visual awareness/investigation or anything that requires seeing anything at a distance.

Florian has difficulty reading in English -- he's not illiterate by any means but he deeply dislikes it. Almost all of his written correspondence/texts/journals etc., are written in Romanian, unless for some reason he HAS to use English

Viktor is only one step blood bound and Florian has no idea about the effects of the bond beyond the physical alterations made to being a ghoul. Despite lacking that knowledge, Florian is still really concerned with trying to respect Viktor's free will as much as possible with these issues since he wasn't given a choice in becoming a vampire to begin with.
