Personality:
Chaotic and trickster-ish. Lydia is an enigma to everyone around her -- often including herself. She is generally bright and spontaneous, a well-spring of seemingly endless energy... But her moods can shift rapidly and drastically -- becoming somber and serious, anxious and flighty or even depressed and despondant at the drop of a hat. Lydia's general mood and energy are frantic, unpredictable and extreme. She has some difficulty connecting to others and can at times be rather fatalist...

Backstory:

Lydia was born in 1998 in a suburb of Santa Marta to Angela and John Brighton. Her childhood was mostly unremarkable, though she was bullied a fair bit in school and had difficulty with making friends due to her eccentric nature... She'd eventually start being homeschooled and would excell in her studies.

Lydia graduated highschool at the age of seventeen and started immediately working towards becoming a doctor... Unfortunately for Lydia, starting med school at eighteen and moving across the country to Pittsburgh would be too much stress for her to handle -- her untreated and undiagnosed bipolar disorder leading her to having a complete break from reality at the age of nineteen, which lead to her spending six months in a psychiatric facility recovering.

Since then, she has been trying to get her life back together but for whatever reason, things just keep falling apart. On top of all that, during her break from reality, Lydia developed an oracular ability/spirit sight that has since made her life increasingly difficult.
