Bio
Valentine is the son of
a middling boss in an American branch of
the Russian mafia, though his
relationship to his father is a secret to
the majority of the organization -- he's
become one of his father's go-to men,
however, after proving himself at a very
young age (think Faith and the Mayor's
relationship, but with some less fatherly
behavior on the part of Val's father).
His transness and sexuality are pretty
much entirely secret to other members of
the organization -- since not only is
homosexuality kind of frowned upon, women
aren't allowed to be Vor.
He's fluent in English and in Russian.
Val also has a pretty intense inferiority
complex, hiding it behind acting like he's
god's gift to...Well, everything. He's a
bit of a 'womanizer', even though he's
not at all attracted to women and deals
with some substance abuse problems (Alcohol
and Smoking pretty much exclusively). He
IS pretty capable at most of the things
his organization has asked of him, but he
still feels like he's not good enough.
Kind of mean, all things told, but has a
soft side under it that just needs to be
